The little Khadija Zidi left to Algeria.

You may recall that little Khadija, who is suffering from Spina Bifida, came to Maryland in 2009 for treatment at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Dr Azzedine Stambouli and AAAGW helped her obtain free treatment and many of our members visited her and offered moral and financial support.

On September 18, 2010, Khadija was back for follow-up to her previous surgery. She received treatment at Johns Hopkins Hospital free of charge. She stayed with her mother Souad Zidi at the Ronald McDonald House in Baltimore, MD.

On October 28, 2010, Khadidja and her mother are back to the homeland Algeria (Tolga, Biskra) and will be back in two years for a second surgery that will not be free of charge according to Dr. Azzedine Stambouli, AAAGW Medical Advisor and Board Director.

Khadija and her mother still need our community for the future financial support to cover the medical expenses like the surgery, hospital inpatient, physical therapy, braces, and visits to the urology department.
