Khadidja now in the United States
Khadidja Zidi has been suffering from Spina Bifda since birth. After the successful treatment of Mounib and Ayoub in the United States, Khadidja has been accepted for treatment at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Khadidja and her mother arrived on June 25th and were greeted at Dulles international Airport by Dr Stambouli and other members of the Algerian-American community in Washington DC. Both are now in Baltimore residing at the Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore.
Kahdidja’s surgery is now scheduled for Tuesday June 30, 2009. Please keep her in your prayers.
Financial assistance
With the hard work of Dr Stambouli and others in Algeria and abroad, the travel expenses to the US were covered by a generous contributor in Algeria while the medical care of this little girl will be treated as a charitable contribution and provided free of charge by the John Hopkins Hospital.
The girl’s family still needs financial assistance to help with their housing and living expenses. Additional follow-up treatment and medical equipment will also be needed after the surgery.
A Bank Account has been open directly under Khadidja Mother's name to facilitate the receipt of your contributions.
